Is 6 x optical zoom enough for taking photos of birds etc?
Do you think there will be much difference between 6 x and 10 x optical zoom. I want to be able to take reasonably close photos of birds that are a few hundred metres away. And close up photos of plants (which I am already close to)
What do you think?
I would prefer teh 6 x because it is a much smaller camera to carry, but I’m not sure if it would be sufficient.
Even digital 10X wont give you a good “closeup”, from hundreds of meters away. 10X would be OK out to 30-40 meters (yards).
