Black Body question, the intensity of radiation emitted from the sun?

Hi! I’ve just got stuck on this question on black body radiation, please help!

When the sun is directly overhead, the thermal energy incident on the earth is 1.4kWm^-2. Assuming the sun behaves like a perfect black body of radius 7 x 10^5km which is 1.5 x 10^8km from the earth, show that the total intensity of radiation emitted from the sun is 6.4 x 10^7Wm^-2 and hence estimate the sun’s surface temperature.

I just cant get the right answer!

Assume the sun to be at the center of an imaginary sphere whose radius is equal to ‘d’ =1.5 x10^8 km=1.5×10^11 m, the distance between the earth and the sun.

The total area of this imaginary sphere is 4 pi d^2.

The earth is on the surface of this sphere and radiation energy falling per second on unit area on earth is 1.4 kWm^-2=1400Wm^-2

It means radiation energy falling per second on unit area of imaginary sphere is 1400 Wm^-2.

Hence total radiation energy falling per second on total area of the sphere E = (energy falling per second per unit area ) (total area of sphere)

E = (1400 Wm^-2)x(4 pi d^2)—————(1)

the total radiation emitted from the sun E=the total intensity of radiation emitted from the sun (L) x surface area of the sun

E = L x 4piR^2 ——————-(2)
where R= 7×10^5 km =7×10^8 m

From equations(1) and (2) cancelling 4 pi and simplifying,

the total intensity of radiation emitted from the sun,L=1.4 x d^2 / R^2

L =1.4 x[d/R]^2

L =1.4x [1.5x10^11 /7x10^8] ^2

L=1.4 x [1500 / 7]^2

L =6.42×10^7 Wm^-2———–(3)

the total intensity of radiation emitted from the sun is L= 6.4 x 10^7 Wm^-2

From Stefan’s law, L,the total intensity of radiation emitted from the sun = Stefan’s constant x (temperatureT)^4

L = [ 5.67x10^-8 Wm^-2K^-4] x(T^4)————-(4)

equating two values of L from equations (3) and (4)

5.67×10^-8 x (T^4) = 6.4×10^7

T^4= [6.4x10^7 ]/ [5.67x10^-8]

T =5796 K

The surface temperature of the sun is about 6000 K

On Kokuchov (nicknamed for a black swan), Masami Akita (Merzbow) returns to his drum kit. He is a formidable drummer, to say the very least; an utterly creative musician, he can play forms as well as visionary improvisations. He employs the drums generously against and in concert with his power electronics. This is especially true on ? Black Swan,? and on the album? s closing track ? Ushiwaka 2.? The latter of these showcases a series of repetitive rhythms slowly evolving as other sounds, from sampled guitar drones and reverb to industrial sounds, are gradually folded in, creating an uncharacteristic set of dynamics that is somewhat less punishing than some of his other pieces. ? Mesmerism,? opens the set with a series of pulsing, gated keyboard sounds that are hopelessly distorted, as drums punctuate the end of every line. As the piece develops, more keyboards are layered on top and folded in, creating a body of sounds that is not unlike what it might be like to hear Martin Rev play with Loop live! Guitar sounds shift in and out of the keyboard racket, drums fill what little space there is and force the rhythmic pulse forward into oblivion.
